The Lost Summer of 2007

_20071007.jpgFirst there was the two month long invasion of the 17 year cicadas.  At first they were cute . . . and then there were millions of them . . . all screeching their mating song . . . then there were itch mites . . . then there was hot humid weather . . . followed by days and days of torrential rains . . . followed by mosquitoes . . . followed by more mosquitoes . . . followed by more hot humid weather . . . it's now October 7th and we've had the air conditioning going full blast for the past week!  I want some decent fall weather!!
