Teal has always been one of my favorite colors. My eyes are actually a dull blue/gray, but when I wear a teal top, it makes my eyes stand out. Once when I still wore glasses, someone at work came up to me and asked me if were wearing tinted contact lenses. I played around with this image of my taken on my birthday wearing a teal dress. I've been fascinated with Klimt's work lately, so I patterned this after one of his portraits of Adele. On top of the big screen TV I stood in front of was a small picture of me as a child standing standing in front of a radio singing. I already had a scan of the childhood portrait so I superimposed that in the image. I had a lot of fun in Photoshop with this prompt from d'blogala

Tempus Fugit started in the summer, but I finished doodling it and coloring it recently. I hadn't heard the Rolling Stones song, "Time Waits for No one" in years, then I heard it twice on the radio in my car in one day. The lyrics were hanging around in my head--they seemed a natural fit to finish off thepage.
